AirAutomate Ltd (“AirAutomate”, “we”, “us”) builds operational infrastructure for short-term rental operators. We are based in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, and we are the data controller for the personal data described on this page. We collect as little as we can, we don't sell it, and we run analytics only with your consent — never any advertising trackers.

What we collect, and why

Founding access and contact forms.When you apply for founding access, register interest from outside the UK, or respond to one of our sign-up prompts, we collect your name (where asked), your email address, and either the size of your portfolio or your country. We use this to contact you about Alfred's launch, assess early access applications, and understand where demand is coming from. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form.

Orders and payment (when the shop is live). If you order Alfred, we collect the contact, delivery, and account details needed to fulfil the order. Card payments are handled by Stripe — your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. The lawful basis is performance of a contract.

Technical logs. Like almost every website, our hosting infrastructure records standard server logs (IP address, request, timestamp) for security and reliability. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating the service safely.

Analytics (only if you agree). If you accept on our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are viewed, where visitors arrive from, and which calls-to-action and forms they interact with — so we can improve it. This sets analytics cookies and sends usage data, including your IP address and a randomly-generated identifier, to Google. We do not load Google Analytics, and no analytics cookies are set, unless and until you opt in; if you decline, none of this runs. The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see Cookies and browser storage below).

Who processes it on our behalf

  • Formspree receives and stores form submissions on our behalf. Formspree may process data outside the UK; those transfers are safeguarded under its data processing terms.
  • Stripe processes payments when the shop is live, including its own fraud-prevention checks.
  • Google(Google Analytics) processes site-usage data, but only after you opt in. Google may process this data outside the UK, including in the United States; those transfers are safeguarded under Google's data processing terms and the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers host the site and our systems.

We share data with no one else. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep founding-access and contact submissions until we have launched and completed early-access onboarding, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first. Order and payment records are kept for as long as UK tax and accounting law requires. Server logs rotate on a short cycle.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential storage (always on).We use a small amount of functional browser storage, strictly to make the site work. It needs no consent because the site can't function without it:

  • flags that remember you've dismissed a sign-up prompt or already submitted a form, so we don't show them again;
  • a flag that remembers your cookie choice, so we don't ask again on every page;
  • your basket and sign-in session in the shop (when live). Stripe sets its own essential cookies on the checkout page for fraud prevention.

Analytics cookies (only if you agree). If you accept analytics on our cookie banner, Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that distinguish one visitor from another and last up to two years. These are not loaded or set at all unless you opt in, and they are never used to target advertising.

Changing your mind. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the Cookie preferenceslink in the footer of any page, then choosing Reject — analytics stops loading. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect analytics already collected while it was given, but it stops any further collection.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, ask for a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@airautomate.comand we will act on it promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page as the product evolves — for example when the shop launches or if our analytics tools or processors change — and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged to anyone on our contact list.
