A zone is an independently-controlled heating area: anywhere with its own thermostat. A studio is usually one zone; a larger house might have four or five: upstairs, downstairs, and a separate annexe. Your tier follows the number of zones, so you only pay for what your property actually needs.

Yes. Every price on this page, subscription and hardware, is shown VAT-inclusive. The figure you see is the figure you pay.

Your account gets a 30-day free trial of the subscription at first purchase, so the monthly fee doesn't start until the trial ends. The one-time hardware charge is taken at checkout, like any other order; it isn't part of the trial. And if the hardware isn't for you, you have 30 days to send it back for a full refund.

Alfred is month-to-month with no minimum contract. If it doesn't save you money, cancel anytime, and the hardware is yours to keep. Cancelling stops the automation for that property straight away and takes it out of future billing. Monthly charges aren't prorated, so the cycle you've already paid for runs its course. We earn your business every month.

Every Alfred is covered for 12 months from the day it comes online. Report a fault from your dashboard and we ship a replacement free of charge.

Yes. The one-time hardware cost buys the Alfred controllers outright. They're yours from day one, even if you later cancel the subscription.
